the Stitch it Sisters are doing a wonderful job! Keep the programs coming! I like to projects because most of them you can do in a day or so. They are good “In-between” projects! My favorites from this season are: color block bag; pet mats for feed bowls; the large tote bag and the stockings.
block of the month HAS to be continued! LOVE THIS! Some ideas- More items that are useful around the house or items to give as gifts. Also- If they can come up with a good method of quilting larger projects with a home sewing machine- that would be AWESOME! I pull my hair out ( It literally fall out) when I try to quilt large projects. some sort of “SIS/ Nancy’s ” easy waty to quilt woud be the best ever!

This is a continuation from my email I just posted.
I forgot to mention that they have been having SEWING WITH NANCY on my PBS (CREATE TV) Station during the last couple of weeks but by the time I stop and turn on the TV, it is after all the information or it is finished. This is going to make life easier although none of the videos you have in this email are one of the shows that I was able to see in the middle, end or closing. I have been busy working outside as winter is on the way…..there will be time for this once I am finished outside.

Maybe for next season you could show different color ideas for a project like the beautiful I See Spots Quilt- a mini version would also be great for those of us just starting to quilt.

I am interested in learning how to sew elastic to the waist of pants. I am pretty sure I knew how about 50 years ago, but not now. Also, after double mastectomy, and not wearing bras, it would be helpful to know how to make a blouse that buttons in the front (for someone who has a big belly). Since about 1999, I have been quilting. Haven’t made garments in years. Glad that you are continuing with Nancy. Like Clover products – have been using them for a very long time. I sew with a Pfaff 7570 and a Baby Lock Quilter’s Choice – both many years old. I do not sew with a serger.

I have not gotten to quilt or sew very much, and your shows have been extremily helpful. I loved the placemated and I am a suker of all types of bags. I do need to brush up of garmet sewing though for the granddaughter nubmers have been increasing, we are up to 5 now, and I would love to make them clothes and play items as well.
