NEW! Reversible Hipster Apron Pattern by Mary Mulari
Mary Mulari has done it, again! Have you ever experienced limited range of motion when wearing an apron? Mary’s New! Hipster Apron Pattern is a unique apron design that does not wrap nor bind around your legs. All style and no restricted motions when wearing Mary’s New! Hipster Apron!
- Choose one yard each, of two contrasting or complimenting fabrics, and make a date with your sewing machine.
- Check out Mary’s “optional” buttonhole (above and below)—to thread the waist ties through. No more slouchy waist ties!
- Three neckline variations are included in the New! Hipster Apron Pattern. Mary’s green paisley apron features the round neck option.
- Three neckband closure options are also included in Mary’s Hipster Apron Pattern. Check out this unique slip-knot variation. All the instructions are included in the pattern.
- Optional pockets may be placed in several different ways. Plus add optional trim to highlight the pocket tops.
- The green paisley apron reverses to a pink rose print. Two aprons in one!
- This next apron is sewn with two 1 yd. cuts from Nancy’s New! Farmhouse Floral Fabric line from Penny Rose, for Riley Blake Fabrics.
- We love Mary’s stacked-pocket placement!
- The beautiful blue floral apron reverses to red shiplap and features a V-neckline option. You’ll also find a straight-neckline variation included in the New! Hipster Apron Pattern.
- Mary gets creative with her optional pocket placement ideas.
- Remember, Mary’s New! Hipster Apron Pattern is a unique apron design that does not wrap nor bind around your legs. The side extensions wrap around the hips and the narrow apron front allows for ease of movement and steps.
- Mary’s New! Hipster Apron Pattern is a gender-neutral design and is ideal for activities in the kitchen, garden, and BBQ.
- The side extensions offer an excellent place to wipe your hands.
Thank you, Mary, for sharing your New! Hipster Apron Pattern with us!
For a chance to win a copy of the New! Hipster Apron Pattern from Mary Mulari, please leave a comment below sharing who would be the fortunate recipient of your sewn Hipster Apron. (It can be you!) And, what fabric themes would you choose?
The randomly selected winner of the Farmhouse Floral Fat Quarter Pack from the June 16 post is Marcia Kerstetter.
Her comment is: I have really been enjoying this BOM, especially because I have always been partial to star blocks. It was a difficult choice, but I am choosing the Evening Star as my favorite from this series of stars. I am so glad you have continued to have a yearly BOM and thank you for the opportunity to try to win this beautiful fabric!

I would LOVE this apron!
Sara
Love the pattern! I would make two, one for me and one for my mom.
Sharon
I’d probably make an apron for myself–whatever fabric I liked.
Louise Wagner
What a cute design!! I’d love to make one for myself, but they also would be nice gifts for my sewing buddies!! I’d go for something geometric for my fabric choice for me!! thanks for the opportunity to win something!!
Brenda Davis
I love that this apron is reversible. I would make one for my best friend of 50+ years, one for my daughter, and one for me. Really hope I win. Thanks for the opportunity to enter!
Tanya Bartlett
I would make several as teachers gifts. I would use the farmhouse floral fabric.
Anne Scott
This is a great apron! I would love to make this for my neighbor, Charlotte. She would love it!
Ann Buckley
I would make it from holiday pattern and a solid. Our quilt guild has all the officers wear aprons that they made to the holiday party Members place tickets in the pocket and the winning tickets keep the apron.
Mary Green
I never wear an apron in the kitchen and often my clothes look like it! So I would make one for myself. Gram always made her aprons and wore them WSO (and had a pocket on that side too) so she could turn them around should company come, She woulda loved this idea.
Pat
I really like the different necklines available for this pattern. I would make three aprons (to start with). One for Mom, one for my sister and, of course, one for me. I’m thinking Christmas prints.
Kim Wilkins
I would make this for my wonderful son-in-law, he enjoys grilling and this would be a great apron style.
Deborah
Love this Apron. I would definitely wear it. It is awesome.
Liz Fergus
I would make two — one for me and one for my daughter. I would definitely wear it on to dinner! I especially love the large pink rose print with red shiplap, Hope I can find something like it in my town.
Yvonne
What a clever design, palace to wipe your hands too. Good idea Mary. I would make it with am embroidery design of chickens.
Max
What a clever pattern. My good friend normally wears an apron while preparing meals–what a nice surprise for her to receive a new apron.
Nifah
I love the style and would add more pockets to use in the sewing room! I love Mary’s patterns!
Susan Spiers
An apron for grilling outside is perfect! Fabric with cooking utensils, items would be too cute!
Mary Ellen
I would make two: one for me and one for my neighbor who is looking for a comfortable apron to replace one from her mother which is threadbare. I have made a couple of Mary’s patterns.
Penny Dudley
If I were fortunate to win this pattern. I would make quite a few and donate to our local soup kitchens and food pantry missions. I feel if someone is willing to volunteer their time at the different locations it would be nice to give them an apron to wear while there.
Rebecca Swavey
This would be the perfect apron a Mr./Mrs wedding shower. Making 2 coordinating. I always give a spaghetti dinner basket, everyone in town knows we’ve done spaghetti dinner every Monday for 30 years…..still happily married. The color combos are limitless……tailgating and grilling are big in the South!!!
geraldine case
I would make 1 to keep in our outside patio to use when grilling, 1 to use in the kitchen for everyday use 1 for holidays, 1 with large pockets to keep in the craft room and several for grandkids teachers gifts. Wow I will be busy. Perfect to have several on hand for unexpected gifts. Could also make it smaller for the little crafters and painters that like to help Grandma. The ideas just keep popping up in my head…..I love the extended sides. This is where I always end up wiping my hands.
Rosalyn Schultze
This is the apron for me! I typically, without thinking, wipe my hands on my sides leaving the clothing I’m wearing stained. Mary’s design takes care of that problem by bringing the apron around the sides. I love this pattern and hope to be a winner!
Shirley C
I just love the design of this apron. I don’t always wear an apron because it doesn’t feel right around the legs and waist, and the top is not always functional, but this design really fits and saves my clothes. I want this pattern.
Beverly
My oldest granddaughter wanted to start helping her mom in the kitchen when she was just 10, and now at 18 she plans to become a chef. Making her fun and pretty aprons is something I enjoy.
Dianna
This is such a great pattern and looks simple to make so I would make one for everyone! I teach kindergarten and like to have an apron with some coverage all the way around. All my teacher friends would need one, too. One with cute oil cloth on one side would be great for dog bathing or working at the large sinks at school and church. I would make oil-cloth versions to hang near those sinks to share. One made out of a study duck or canvas with extra pockets for the garden would be handy. Made in colors to coordinate with wedding colors, this apron would make a lovely bridal shower gift. After all that, we’d need to go out to dinner – too tired to cook – but I suppose one for the kitchen would be a good idea, too 😉
Marcia Mckee
I too agree that a pair of these aprons would be good wedding gifts, his and hers, now days many men are becoming very proficient in the kitchen. Some do the majority of the meals and snacks. Also I would make two or three to put in the kitchen at my church. Thanks for this wonderful pattern.
Robin Hessefort
I love the style of this apron. I can wear it for cooking, sewing or at our farmers market. I also love that the tie will slide into the buttonholes at the sides for a more slimming fit. This is a winner! Great job Mary!
Esther
Would love this apron pattern … such unique ideas! Thank you!
debra zaioczkowski
really like Marys new apron ! it looks like it will work great for us hippie girls (the ones with more junk in the trunk than others) its so hard to get an apron to fit properly when you are wider than the norm. thank you Mary for thinking and designing some thing new to fix the something old i have turned in to.
Peggy Saia
I would love to have this pattern. I have made matching aprons for my daughter and I for Easter and would love to complete the holidays we cook together with aprons.
Nancy
I would make this apron in a camper fabric for a friend who has done much for our church. I’d also like to make one for each of our kids, grown now and teaching their kids to cook.
Teresa Wiley
My daughter and son-in-law love to cook on the grill. I would make them matching aprons with their name embroidered on both sides! They would love this! Thanks for the opportunity to do this for them!
Jude Heineken
What a great idea. I would love to sew this up in Christmas fabric for friends. And this would make a great Shower gift to the new mothers made from a light weight Terry or flannel so when they are finished with the bath they can cuddle and dry the baby.
Judith Sasse
I would love to win this pattern. The adjustable neck is unique and very practical. The draw through front ties would be more comfortable to use. I especially like the apron made of roses and paisley; it looks dressy and uplifting to wear.
Mary Malec
I love this apron and would love a copy of the pattern. Great for both gals and guys! Love both necklines, too.
Myra
This would be a great apron. I have trouble keeping the flour on the counter when making pie crusts. I would use apple green and teal to go with my kitchen. I would also make one for a sample for our quilt store. We could carry the pattern. Great apron. I have made the wrap around apron already for our quilt store. Thank you.
SYLVIA BROWN
I LOVE MARY MULARI’S PATTERNS AND HER IDEAS. WOULD LIKE TO TRY THIS STYLE, SINCE I HAVE THE OTHER ONE.
Jeanne L
I would enjoy making this hipster apron for my daughter and her husband with a chili peppers fabric on one side and bread loaves fabric on the other!
Denise D
I would have to make 4 of them. Mine would have a strawberry fabric, my husband, the grill master, would have a fire fighter fabric, my oldest daughter would have a chicken fabric and my youngest daughter would have a patriotic fabric. Cute, cute, cute pattern!
Jan C
I see Christmas gifts with this pattern. What a great look!
Wilda Ernst
Very Clever. I’d keep one for myself and one for mom!
Robin M
I would be making aprons for my daughter, my daughter-in-law and myself?!
Pam Kosirog
I would make one for me and one for my secret sister that I have through another FB site! I think I would go floral or maybe geometric!
MoeWest
What a nice pattern! I would make one with a floral on one side and a stripe on the other.
Peggy Shepherd
I will make at least two — one for me and one for my niece and who knows who else. The fabric I will use depends on the day. I will go through my collection and chose something that fits our personalities. Fingers crossed that I will win!
MaryLou W
Love the pattern -I have quite a collection of apron patterns and sure would love to add this one to them. I would love making it for my Granddaughter who has her own baking business as well as my daughter and can think of a few friends who would love one too. Thanks for the opportunity to win but if I don’t win sure know I will be purchasing the pattern!!
Patti
Would love to make for me, my daughter, daughter in law, son and a smaller version for my grandson. The boys love to make cookies together.
Mary Wallis
This is an awesome apron pattern. I would use the farmhouse florals for this apron and give it to my sister, who is always making market bags for us. She would love it!
nina
Nice idea for an apron! I might use a black and a white side, making two, one for my niece and one her professional chef husband! Will probably have to whip up a series of aprons for the whole family!
Pat P
How very creative! Vertical stripes to make me look tall and thin, or a good all-over print to hide the mess I make in the kitchen. Thank you, Mary, for another great pattern.
Clovis
It would be for my mother and the blue floral with the red shiplap would be the fabric. I like the neckline with the red shiplap.
Teresa Seaver
I would gift an apron to my niece’s husband. They are expecting their first child and I think he would appreciate when changing their little one.
Virginia Smith
First is a hard question because I like to make and give aprons for shower gifts and I really don’t need any for myself. I think my Sister would be first as the last one was too big even thought I made a small. I like to use a holiday print on one side and a kitchen color picked for the person getting the gift.
Terri
I would make them for my friends daughter, daughter in law, 4 grand daughters for Christmas.
Debra Hudson
I LOVE Aprons!!! My grandmother made aprons when I was growing up and gave them away as gifts. I still have my first apron she made for me at the age of four. I would LOVE to make this beautiful apron and pass it on to my daughter in Bradenton FL. Thank you for the chance to win such a beautiful piece of fabric art.
Julee K
I would love to win! I would make one for my daughter and another for me. I love this pattern. Thanks Mary!
Linda
I really need this pattern. I want to make one for my mom, 2 sisters, 1 sister in law, 1 niece before Christmas. We have been baking cookies on the 2nd weekend of December for 35 years. Every year I say I should makes us all matching but not matching aprons. One side will be a Christmas print and the other side fabric to match their personalities.
Janet johnson
What a great apron pattern. I probably have 8 or 9 apron patterns but this one is a great cover-up. I love the bright florals for one side and I am sure I have fabric to use for the back sides of just about anything new I choose. I would love to make a few to have on hand for last minute gifts and for “thank you” gifts.
Jan H
Mary Mulari’s apron patterns are the best! I would love to make several of these for Christmas gifts. One friend loves chickens, so I would need to make one of the aprons with chicken motif fabric.
Carolyn
I have been yearning to make a reversible apron! With Thanksgiving print on one side and Christmas print on the other! Of couse, the first one would be for me, then for my 2 daughters, 2 daughter-in-laws, and of course the men of the family as well.
Janine Roth
If I won the pattern , I think I would make this for myself, using a sewing theme novelty fabric.
Deborah Listman Ward
love the apron pattern!!! I would make at least 2 for my Aunt possibly 3 as she hosts Thanksgiving so fall themed prints, Easter so spring & bunny prints then finally but probably the very first one now that I’m thinking about it in chicken & rooster prints as she keeps them and has a rooster themed kitchen!!! I know she would definitely get a lot of use out of these and appreciate them so!!
Shelly Gabler
Great idea. I could make them for all my sisters and friends who love to spend time in the kitchen. A denim one would be great for my son-in-law who loves to grill.
Carolyn
I make prizes each month for my church’s ladies’ group. They all love aprons and I have some fun prints to use.
Becky
I would make one for my brother who loves BBQ in the old traditional style so I would probably make one in an old style Southern print and embroider a pig on it for my WONDERFUL brother.
Kate Emerson
I would love to give this apron to my daughter who is setting up her first apartment. She loves to cook, but like me has a tendency to “wear” a lot of what she is making! I have taught her to use aprons, but all of mine are a hot mess. It would be nice to start her out with her own new ones.
Gayle Shumaker
It would be for me. My only apron is a cheap one from one of the dollar stores.I would make mine out of one of the beautiful batiks I have bought and and added to my stash.
Linda Gran
Very versatile pattern. I love Mary Mulari’s patterns and booklets.
Deon
I think I would be selfish, and keep it for myself! I love the idea of a place to wipe your hands, as I’m pretty messy in the kitch.
Hazel Davidson
I love this pattern and would love to make one for my son-in-law who is a devout fan of Florida State football. He loves to cook as well and would make good use of the pockets for his phone as he checks on the game’s progress.
Judith BIBER
I would make this apron for my husband who is doing all the cooking since he retired. He wipes his hands on his hips and constantly has dirty jeans!
Tina
I see making Christmas gifts with these and then to really make them personalized I would embroider their name or monogram. Great ideas from your website!
Robin Harsh
I love making aprons for my best friend, who is an accomplished cook and hostess. I’ve made her aprons in all kinds of styles and holiday prints so now its time for a comfortable, convenient everyday apron. I think she’ll like those slipknots at the neck because she hates catching her hair in the knot as she ties her aprons on.
Nancy in MN
What a great apron design! I love that it doesn’t have excess fabric bulk at the waist and that the wrap/tie at the neck will likely weigh less than traditionally tied straps which pull my neck down. Of course I am going to make this one for myself first!
mary m young
Who said you can’t build a better mouse trap? Well Mary certainly did with this very innovative creation. Would love love love to win it. Thank you.
Jo Ann Setliff
Chili peppers for my friend who makes tamales
Eileen Snook
The apron would be for me. I love all things apron-y.
Janice C
I would love to win this pattern. I would make myself a painters & crafting apron (out of blue jean plus patterned fabric), then make my husband a shirt saver apron (he has shaky hands) out of a good but heavy duty cotton. (I would make it shorter for the shirt saver. It would also make great BBQ apron for my brothers-in-law and regular apron for my sister, sister-in-law and mother-in-law!! Thanks j 🙂 🙂
Beth in CO
I would make three – one for me in
Angie Larsen
Would love this apron for ME! I see it in 2 coordinating floral prints (so as to not show food stains 🙂
Betty Elsner
I need to make this apron as I am a messy cook!
Helen
I would make the apron for myself! My old apron was made for me by my mother shortly after I got married, 44 years ago. It doesn’t fit well anymore.
Gail Beam
I would make this apron for my daughter is some fun prints that have artist supplies on it.
Marjory W
I would make one for each of my daughters-in-law, and one for myself, too!
DeWitt Donna M
I would make one for each of my CTA advisors group. 59 members and growing. They would love, love, love this APRON & of corse one for my daughter’s and one for myself.
Love this pattern and would fit everyone.
Thank You Mary for this great pattern.
DeWitt Donna M
WHOOPS! Forgot my husband, he loves to cook.
Pam
I love this new apron pattern. I’d probably start with me to test the pattern. Thanks!
Berenice
That looks like a great gift idea. All the men in our family BBQ a lot. That looks perfect for them!
Sherri Wiley
Oh, my! I’d make one of these aprons for everyone I know. I’d use my fabric stash and then I’d buy fabric for special aprons, such as house warmings or hostess gifts.
Janice Ringer
I would make this for myself from 30′,s fabric to remind me of grandma.
Edna Marks
I would make first one for myself, out of fun food print fabrics, then probably one for all the cooks in my family male and female.
Caroline
I LOVE that this apron can be stitched up with just two yards of fabric! The colorful combinations are endless!
Esther
I’d love to win this pattern! Much as I love the paisley/roses combo, I’m thinking of chili peppers/red shiplap fabric with the V-neck option. I’d make 2; one for me & one for my BFF, who’s been my tamale-making partner for the last 50(!) years. We tend to get pretty messy after making 20 dozen tamales, so it will be nice to FINALLY have clean clothes when all is said & done!
Sandy Davis
Wow! Mary has done it again! She and I have so much in common, especially our love for aprons, old and new. It was such a treat to share with her at Nancy’s Notions Sewing Weekend this year that I have a collection of about 160 aprons, now. I’ve been doing my “Apron History” talk at churches and Cooperative Extension events for a number of years and have two more scheduled later this year. I will always think fondly of Mary when I give my talks after being present for her seminar at the Weekend in May. Keep those cute apron patterns coming, Mary!
Ruth Beaumont
My husband & l share the cooking, l would make one for each of us. Mary is so talented.
Winifred Keeble
I can’t live without my aprons and this one really looks like a game-changer! Pockets and no leg binding is a real plus.
TRAUDY
I like this style – I think everyone in my family would get one!
Louise Johnson
I would make one for my son who loves to cook indoors and outdoors. It would definitely be a bicycle theme; I already have the fabric for one side!
Debbie Talley
I would make two; one for me and one for my son who is a chef. I would make mine with novelty print on one side and the reverse side in plaid. My son’s will be striped, much like a man’s dress shirt and again, plaid on the reverse. I love plaids!
Brenda
I have some great novelty fabric that will make awesome aprons for my husband and myself.
Donna
What a lovely apron. My niece is getting married and I am sure she could use an apron thanks
Valorie
I’ve got some of the neatest fabrics. One is a poppy print, that I’ve been wanting to make something for some members of the VFW Auxiliary. Some sewing themed fabric to make for my 2 sisters that are seamstresses. A snowman print for my sister-in-love. A light house print for another sister-in-love. I could really bust my stash :).
Kay Coffin
Love this pattern, Can’t wait to try it out!
beth d.
would love to win this apron pattern.
Peggy V
I would make an apron for my Mother’s 96 birthday. She loves aprons and has worn them for years. I would use floral fabrics since my mother loves flowers.
ROBIN RODRIQUEZ
I would make one for myself, sisters and daughter.
Torry
I would make a second round of aprons for the women in my family. (The first round was for all the women who were related to my our daughter, including her in-laws.) I really love how different this pattern is from all of my other patterns. (Yes, I too collect apron patterns.)
Torry
I’d love this pattern to make aprons for the women in my family! I like that this pattern isn’t like anything in my pattern collection. (Doesn’t everyone have an apron pattern collection?)
Kim
I would make aprons for myself, my sisters, daughter-n-laws, nieces, and probably even my sons. Love that the pattern is for a reversible apron!
Martha
For a bridal shower gift, I’d make a reversible “his & hers” apron: his side (with light-weight denim, bandana pockets and perhaps leather-like accents on the pocket edges) to use while grilling outdoors and her side (with bright florals and frilly accents on the pocket edges) to use while baking in the kitchen!
Emma Smith
I love this pattern, because I cook a lot and the aprons I have don,t fit the way I like. I would make this for me and my sister, since she cooks a lot also.
Thanks so much for such a creative pattern.
Mary Wagner
I would make it for me and use fabric from my enormous stash.
Bridget
I would make one for my coworker who loves to cook. I would make it in a peacock fabric as she Loves them.
Connie Gratias
I would make one for me and one for my grandson who loves to cook.
Colleen Kellyginter
Hubby and I just bought a new to us RV. Been approved to adopt. So from Stevenson Wa. we are taking a road trip to Wichita KS to pick up our 6.5 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever. Koda is a rescue who was abused and we will love him til the cows come home. On our 4500 mile round trip I’ll pick up fabrics along the way to make this apron. It will be nice to be covered, yet loose around a skirt or jeans while I am grooming and loving on the animals. I wasn’t able to find something that said “Make me” and the Hipster Apron did. I’ll show pictures of our road trip and the completed apron’s. My tribute to Nancy Zeeman’s affect she had on our family of sewers and makers. Mary, you were right there along with us as well. Thank you
Nancy
This is an ingenious design. I’ve always wondered how some folks can move around a kitchen efficiently with the apron flapping around their legs! I’m looking forward to making one for myself. How about a fall/Thanksgiving fabric on one side and a winter/Christmas on the other? One apron for two holidays, yes! Or Valentines and spring/Easter!
Nancy
Love the two-sided aspect. First one I’d make would be with cat fabric- to wear while brushing the little darlings-to keep their fur off my clothes. Make more for gifts for all the holidays. Make more to donate to church for serving meals we have.
Vickie Mejorado
I hope it doesn’t sound selfish, but I would sew several of the Hipster Aprons for myself, one for cooking, one for sewing, one for gardening, one for crafting/crocheting/knitting!
SUSAN CHAMBERLAIN
Just love this pattern. Will tweek the pockets a bit and make aprons for my gardening friends. It’s perfect.
Diana Waters
We do a lot of cookouts for employees at work and I can make an apron for each of the girls that serves food, including myself of course
Kelly
I love this pattern. It would be great to make these for the women in my small group. I always try to make the gifts myself and this would be perfect.
Anita Phelps
I would love to make some up for my daughter. She has several food allergies and has to cook everything from scratch. Luckily she loves to cook. She recently moved so she could use some new coordinating aprons for her new kitchen. I know she would love the variety and the pocket! Thank you for making the perfect pattern!
Judi
Buffalo check for my hubby on one side and coordinating floral on the other side for me. Love, love, love the pattern!
LoAnn Trowbridge
Options: one for my self, one for my sister-in-law (best friend), one each for each of my sewing group, one for each for Christmas party in another sewing group, several for auction to raise funds for another sewing group. Or all of the above! Right after I get my UFO’s done. LOL
CarolKE
We cook for a kids camp at church, so some kid friendly prints would be fun. Maybe veggies and cupcakes.
Sharon B.
I love aprons! AND Mary’s patterns!
I’d make this one with a patriotic themed fabric on one side and light weight denim on the other. Great for summer grilling!
Marianne
I think I have all of Mary’s apron patterns, and I think I need this one too. I just got a collection of Nancy’s Farmhouse Fabrics and I’ll use several coordinated pieces to create an apron for a bridal shower gift for a special niece. She will LOVE it!
Julie
I love making aprons out of vintage fabric and give as gifts
Jaxie
Lovely reversible pattern which would be perfect for canning (and quite safe) and bread themed on the reverse side for pastry, pizza, etc.
E. Watson
I would probably be the first recipient of an apron, but from there, I could see making them as gifts. My sister really likes to bake/cook, and it would be fun to make her a personalized apron! I’m not sure what fabric I would choose, I can’t decide until I have seen all the fabric at the fabric store! However, for the apron for my sister I would probably do a baking/cooking theme, or fabric that has food with faces. My sister loves that kind of fabric!
Jade
I love Mary’s patterns and this new one looks like a winner! I plan to make a variety of aprons for all the guests at my soon to be daughter-in-law’s wedding shower as “party favor gifts”. This pattern will be a big hit (especially for those messy cooks who like to wipe their hands across their hips!)
Jamie Graham
These look so fun to make!
Anita Phelps
I would love to make several of these for my daughter. She has recently moved and has to cook from scratch due to food allergies in her family. She has hinted that new coordinating aprons would be much appreciated, and I know she would love the style. It’s a perfect pattern!
Brenda Nance
I love making aprons! I gave one away yesterday at a bridal shower. This one is very unique. I usually give mine away as gifts.
Donna C
Wow, Mary hit it out of the park again! I have all of her apron patterns and love them. This would be great to make for the ladies in my sewing group who are serving as officers.
Margarita Rhoden
I have been looking for a special apron for my daughter, She loves aprons and uses them until they are worn out! She also loves bright colors and I would love to use a print with birds. Looking forward to trying this pattern out.
Jan Carnes
I’d like to make these for my son and daughter-in-law who have a part-time catering business.
Lynda A
I have been sewing Mary’s apron patterns for years, and I always get great compliments from them. This new apron pattern I just LOVE! I will sew this one for me!
Brenda Thomas
First, I’d have to make one for me! After that, I can think of several people who also need a new apron.
Christine Gibbons
I would love this pattern for myself and my daughters and daughter-in-law. Oh and my best friend. We would love the simplicity of this pattern.
Lois Willingham
I have 5 wonderful Grand Daughters and 1 wonderful Grand Son that cook all the time . Also one great Granddaughter who bakes all the time. Of course the first one would be mine so I have to make 7 of them. I will have to adjust one to fit a 6ft 7 in 250 pd grandson but that will be easy to do since he lives right behind me.
Karen Tucker
I have not used an apron in years because I didn’t like the way it fit around my body. This one is unique and looks very comfortable!
Mary Deeter
I am always on the lookout for an apron that gives good “coverage”. My daughter wears aprons all day long, and pockets are essential. I like this modern “twist” and love a reversable apron! THANKS for the chance
Pat Allen
Mary has done it again such a talented lady when it comes to sewing and creating. I grew up with aprons, both of my grandmothers and my Mom wore them every day. My mom made aprons with the bottom made into a large pocket and would go to the garden in the cool of the mornings and gather fresh garden produce and fill it up. Watched this all my growing up years. Those aprons were put up in winter and the pretty ones got used till summer came around again. The apron pattern featured is an awesome pattern….looks so comfortable.
Sarah
I would love to make myself an apron, I enjoy baking and it would be fun to find some cute baking themed fabric. I think it would be nice for my sister, mom, and me to have our hand made aprons in the kitchen. I could see all of us making our own custom apron together so we had a sewing project to do with each other. It sounds like it could be lots of fun!!
Starr
I love the looks of this apron….good coverage and pockets. I would make the first apron for myself! The green paisley/ pink rose combo really caught my eye. Thanks for the opportunity to win this.
Suzanne Cook
I would make 2 aprons and both reversible! One for myself and the 2nd one for my beautiful daughter. My daughter is a large animal veterinarian and she loves to cook for her family (husband and 2 daughters 6 yr and 3 yrs old) Seeing her in an apron is much more pleasing than scrubs she wears everyday! Another idea is to make one side Thanksgiving and the reverse Christmas…..that’s a fun one!

I have some fun kitchen prints that would look great imade up in this pattern. My daughter is moving out, so this would be a great gift for her new apartment.

Just adore the perky personality of the apron design. Besides sewing, I cook a lot and paint. I could envision one of these aprons in a denim fabric in which I could either paint or embroider cheerful designs. Would love the opportunity to work this pattern.

I wear aprons a lot especially when I prep meals for the week. I would make one for me with some retro calico fabrics that I have seen at my local shop. Then I would make one for DH similar to the gray one, maybe red on the inside for when he bbqs.
