- Trim seam allowances at corners, and turn bag right sides out – using a Point 2 Point Turner – to make crisp corners.
- Fold bottom edge up to about 1″ below angled-top. Align edges and Wonder Clip.
- Edgestitch side seams, through all layers, closing seam allowance opening in edgestitching. Backstitch at seams end, for reinforcement.
IMPORTANT! When cooking any vegetable wrapped in fabric, limit the time to two minute intervals. Pellon® does not recommend cooking on high longer than two minutes. When longer cooking time is needed, stop, turn the item while wearing oven mitts, then start again. Never leave a microwave unattended while cooking. Allow to cool before handling. Use only 100% cotton fabrics, batting, and thread.

I would use a Wrap and Zap Bag for microwaved baked potatoes. Hopefully this would keep the in interior of the oven dry instead of steamy.
Diane C
I had one for baked potatoes, but it fell onto the stove burner and well lets just say I need to make a new one! They work great!

I would definitely use the Wrap-N-Zap Bag for warming tortillas, steaming broccoli, Brussels sprouts, corn-on-the-cob, green beans, veggie medleys, as well as a bag for warming and using heating pads for keeping food warmer and for muscle aches. Multitasker, indeed!
Diane Putzer
I’d use it for baking potatoes and cooking corn on the cob.
Sandra
I would use the Wrap and Zap Bag as a gift for my 92 year old Daddy. His oven has quit and he could do his potatoes, corn, and cabbage and have less clean up.
Bonnye
I would use the bag to make baked potatoes. I have heard that the potatoes are delicious.
Carol T Grimes
Sounds easy and no clean up.
Melanie Eddy
I would use the Wrap and Zap to teach the beginning 4-Her’s to make microwave bags, when it is safe to teach them in person.
Pat
Never thought to use it for corn. Can’t wait to try it. Will make a few more.
Clovis
I used the Wrap & Zap Bag for my pot holders I made one Christmas.
Marge
I would use it for potatoes. that is, one at a time and stopping the microwave and turning the bag every 2 minutes or less… Made some up in the past and sold some. Had a lady bring one back to me that was burned/singed at another flea market and throw it at me and Say real loudly “What are you going to do about this?” I gave her another one and told her to follow the instructions with this one… She most likely went past the two minutes for stopping the microwave and turning it. I’ve always included the instructions with them when selling them, but, can’t control how the buyer of them uses them and weather or not they follow the instructions to the “T” or the like. I’ve cut back on making them up and selling them because of that experience with that person… She was really boisterous, loud and got many peoples attention with her behavior that day, that’s for sure. Yes, I used everything 100% cotton when making them up. If making up the Microwave Bowl Pot Holders be sure to tell folks not to try using them for the bagged microwaved popping popcorn. One person did so and the results a fire in their microwave… Was advised of same on that, too… One has to really be extremely careful when using any of these type of items in their microwave, that’s for sure…. Especially the two minute warning/stop/wait a half a minute/resume/repeat every two minutes etc…..

Sounds like it would work great for warming muffins, rolls, and other bread items. Good directions.

I think I would use the wrap and zap bag for potatoes and corn. Two of my favorite foods!

I plan to make these for my grandsons and their wives for Christmas. They are young marrieds and cook in the microwave 90% of the time. They will definitely use them for baked potatoes and veggies of all kinds.

I travel light and think this smart little bag, plus a snap closure, will be just right for makeup and a toothbrush!

My sister made me one and I like it. It will be great to know how to make these so I can increase my ability to prepare quick meals for my family (not to mention quick, easy, and helpful gifts!).
Susan
Would definitely use the Wrap-N-Zap Bag for cooking corn & potatoes in the microwave. Also, would love to make a few for gifts as I think many would find the bag quite handy.
