This is a really pretty pattern. …..and, It looks like one that
1) is easy enough for a “gimme straight lines” sew-er. And….
2) I have some really pretty knit fabric that has been waiting for an easy but pretty dress to use it for.
I often “try” patterns out on cheap, practice fabric. This may actually be a goodstart!
ps. I really miss Nancy. I know you all do too…

I have been sewing since 6, and as a home economics teacher taught sewing to many different age groups and talents. Two years ago I had a spinal cord injury leaving me paraplegic and exploring a suitable wardrobe. I am hoping that this wraparound dress would be suitable for a wheelchair. I would love to try it and adapt it, if necessary, for my needs and others in similar situations. Thank you for the pattern and especially for Sewing with Nancy programs.
Most sincerely,
Melinda Whitehead
