    February 23, 2019

This is a really pretty pattern. …..and, It looks like one that
    1) is easy enough for a “gimme straight lines” sew-er. And….
    2) I have some really pretty knit fabric that has been waiting for an easy but pretty dress to use it for.
I often “try” patterns out on cheap, practice fabric. This may actually be a goodstart!
ps. I really miss Nancy. I know you all do too…

  • Carolyn Todd

Two years ago I had a spinal cord injury leaving me paraplegic and exploring a suitable wardrobe. I am hoping that this wraparound dress would be suitable for a wheelchair. I would love to try it and adapt it, if necessary, for my needs and others in similar situations. Thank you for the pattern and especially for Sewing with Nancy programs.

Garment sewing is what got me hooked on watching “Sewing with Nancy” when it started. So happy The Team is giving some attention to that once again.

My slim, trim daughter-in-law would look perfect in this, and she has a birthday coming soon.

I’d love to add this dress to my spring make line up! Wrap dresses are so versatile, and comfortable. The asymmetrical hem is so flattering!

I’ve been searching for just the right wrap dress, not revealing and t

Nothing says spring like a newly sewn spring dress! I love wrap dresses, but haven’t bought a pattern for one because I haven’t found one I like. This looks like just the right pattern! I would LOVE to win this.
Thank you for sharing all your wisdom!

Purchased some fabric for an Easter dress, and would like to make several Spring dresses. Would also love to make some flowery Spring tops to wear with jeans or leggings. I love the wrap dress. Would love to make one of those.

I would truly love to make this pattern for friends that I have who reside in assisted living. This would be an easy on/easy off dress that would make them feel good about their selves. Thank you so much for doing this. If we get to pick a size I do believe it would be best to pick the larges available as it would be easier to take it in than to make bigger depending on their sizes.

I like that this summer dress has a bit of a sleeve. I will be looking for this pattern at my local shop! Thanks for the heads up.

What a pretty dress. I have been trying to attempt to sew more clothing, thus stretching my sewing abilities. This would be a perfect dress for me to try. Thanks for the chance to enter.

I am making a spring jacket… after having made a self- designed patchwork jacket for winter that turned out gorgeous! Off to the fabric store to find a fabulous, multicolored fabric to go with the pants, tops, and now 1 wrap dress I’ll be sewing for a new spring wardrobe.

Plan to make some skirts, but this dress pattern would be nice to have to create a classic style dress.

I would like to make this dress in a jersey knit in a spring floral little longer for my 70+ legs.

I am planning on sewing a Spring dress that I can wear into summer and early fall. The wrap dress reminds me of dresses we made in the 70’s. They were fairly easy to fit and very comfortable. With the variety of new fabrics out with spandex in them the style should be even more comfortable for varieties of body shapes and sizes.

I love the wrap style dress as it can be flattering on so many body types. I need to sew a spring/ summer wardrobe as mine is so outdated!
