Stocking Sewing Challenge Winners
The Christmas Stocking Sewing Challenge was so much fun to host. I enjoyed seeing all the entries and the talent showcased in the event. You can still view the virtual stocking show at the bottom of this post. As you may know, this year the winners were chosen by a panel of judges. With over 100 entries, it was quite a task for the team to narrow down winners. Thank you to everyone who participated and thank you to all the friends, family, and sewing enthusiasts who voted!
If your stocking is featured here, you will receive an email from my team requesting contact information. Congratulations!

Thank you for this fun stocking challenge. The winners certainly did some awesomely creative work. I would have not wanted to have to judge!

So fun to see all the stockings! Very inspiring.

Just beautiful. Thank you for allowing so many talented sewists to show off their lovely creations AND for some to win great prizes as well. Nancy, I have been watching your PBS programs since we moved to Fort Worth 23 years ago and you never fail to spark my creative bug. God bless…
Linda Kernodle
Congratulations to all of the winners.

I love reds and creating something new. What fun to see how the patterns encourage creative quilting. I also loved seeing everyone’s stockings. I made some this year and gave them to friends who love camels. I added a bow to the lady camel and a tie to the man’s camel. What my friends don’t know is I have two more stockings for when their little babies come. They hope to have children in 2017!

I love the variety and creativity. How fun. Nice prizes.

Wow! These are fabulous! Can anyone tell me what kind of patterned fabric Hannah D. started with to get the awesome six-pointed, paper pieced stars? Or if there is a pattern for this? Congratulations all!
Hannah D.
Lynn Again – The entire stocking is paper pieced using solid colors. The designs are based on Ula Lenz’s 2016 Block of the Month patterns. Check out her website (http://www.lenzula.de/en/) for the patterns. Glad you liked it, I enjoyed making it!
Mara
