The 2022 Great Wisconsin Quilt Show Advance Registration Guide is your source for information on Quilt Show vendors, educational lectures, sit & sew and hands-on workshops, and more. Paper copies of the 2022 guide will hit mailboxes between July 20-24. If you have received an Advance Registration Guide in the past, one will be mailed to you again this year. A PDF version of the guide will be available quiltshow.com beginning Monday, July 11.

Uncovered: The Ken Burns Collection
America’s storyteller – documentary filmmaker Ken Burns – has collected handmade quilts since the 1970s. On loan from his private collection, “Uncovered: The Ken Burns Collection” showcases 26 historic American quilts, dating from the 1850s to the 1940s. These delicate artifacts not only tell stories from our history, but share the spirit of people who lived it.

A Gallery of Elm Creek Quilts
A special collection of quilts featured in and inspired by the beloved, bestselling Elm Creek Quilts novels by Wisconsin author Jennifer Chiaverini. The series features a master quilter, Sylvia Bergstrom Compson, who shares lessons about quilting and life with her apprentice, Sarah, as the elder woman teaches the younger how to quilt. As the series progresses, Sylvia, Sarah, and their friends open a quilter’s retreat at Sylvia’s rural Pennsylvania estate—Elm Creek Quilt Camp, where quilters from across the country and around the world come to enjoy quilting and friendship.
