Over the last 25+ years, Rita Farro, Sewing With Nancy guest and friend, has collected vintage linens from auctions antique shops, and thrift stores. Her impressive collection includes over 200 aprons and countless linens. Rather than keep these exquisitely handmade aprons and assorted heirloom linens hidden away in closets and drawers, Rita created a special exhibit for the Bettendorf, Iowa Public Library. If you live in the Bettendorf, Iowa area, be sure to drop by and visit Rita’s Art of Homemaking Special Exhibit curated by Rita, herself – now through January 2020. And watch Rita’s recent interview on the Paula Sands Live TV segment on KWQC. Rita’s segment starts with a throwback sewing show clip from the 90s! (above).

I love to make matching table toppers to go on my dining room table and my buffet. I like to maker special ones for each holiday season. Thanks!
Susan
Really like making seasonal table toppers and decorate with seasonal decorations such as pumpkins for fall, snowmen for winter, flowers and bees for spring and patriotic themed decorations for summer. Table toppers add a lot of interest for decor.
Margaret C.
My favorite table topper is edible fruits of the season.
Annette Rady
this looks like an adorable and easy project…would love these fabrics.
Dixie
I like to make table toppers for each holiday for my table.
Beverly
I love a round decorative tray or a basket with interesting items set in the center of an appliqued table topper featuring colors and scenes of the season.
Clovis
I have a table topper with flowers in the middle.
Pat
My favorite Christmas table decoration is a china Santa I received as a Christmas gift years ago. It would look wonderful on this table topper!
Lorraine Alves
I have a brass bowl that I fill with ornaments from my parents. Many are German glass ornaments that were sent to my parents from Germany by my dad’s parents.
Janet
My favorite table decoration changes every year. I start with a nice table runner, either quilted or one my mother crocheted. I top that with Christmas village, or a nativity scene, or a large cloche filled with antique Santa and snowmen, sisal trees, and a tiny North Pole sign. I like to make it fun and interesting. I have been collecting for years so I always have a lot to choose from.
Bonnye
My favorite table decoration is a Christmas floral arrangement. I make an arrangement with cut greens from my yard and purchase flowers. I make several arrangements for family and friends to enjoy for the holidays.
