I miss Nancy and continue to watch her shows and videos any time I can. I have a granddaughter who has shown an interest in sewing but we just haven’t connected yet. This gift would be a perfect way to show her she can start smaller and doesn’t have to sew a huge quilt like Grammie does. Your website is great appreciated, Nancy. ❤️

I love the simple yet beautiful projects. I am looking for a way to get my grandchildren interested in something else besides their computers. When they hear my sewing machine going, they always come to see what I am making. The projects are a great introduction to the wonderful world of sewing.
It breaks my heart that Nancy’s granddaughters no longer have her.

This is a great way to give memories, and to give children skills and confidence they can carry their whole lives. What a great collection of choices, wiith pictures, to begin working with young girls and boys (sewings machines have motors, and a young man in U.S. Army basic training with my husband made “pin money” because he knew how to sew on buttons and make minor clothing repairs).

My heart still hurts from the news that Nancy had a short time to live and was retiring — and then, in a very short time, she was gone. She was inspiring as a teacher of many sewing skills and also an inspiration as she faced her final days. I never met her, and yet feel like we were good friends!

I have the privilege of teaching my great grand daughters to sew. The timing of this new series is perfect.
Nancy indeed is leaving a wonderful legacy.
I have had the wonderful opportunity to follow and learn
from Nancy, from basics to actually a small home based
    alterations, business over the years.
What an encouragement to me and thousands of others to follow their dreams. Now the door to open to a new generation once again. Thank you to all who supported her!

I saw this show not long after Nancy passed away. It was so heart warming to see her with her grandchildren but at the same time, I cried through the whole show. I know how much she will be missed by me and I never met her. I can’t believe how those grand babies and the rest of her family feel. My prayers are with all of them. May God bless them and help ease their pain and help them be a comfort to one another.

Nancy will be missed. I have watched her shows over 20 years. My first sewing book was a beginners book. I bought that book in a bookstore in the 1990’s. I have been sewing since. I saw her do a show on machine embroidery on a Babylock. My first sewing/embroidery machine was a Babylock Ellure Plus. Now I have a Babylock Aventura. She has taught me a lot. I have bought Clover products because of her suggestions. I figured if she is sponsoring the company then the products must be one of the best. She has taught me so much with sewing and embroidery that I have opened my own custom business.
I will miss you Nancy. RIP!

I was shocked and devastated when I heard of Nancy’s passing. I love this idea of sewing with children. One of my granddaughters wanted to learn to sew at the tender age of 7. She now has my mother’s “antique” sewing machine to learn on (the one I learned on, too!) Singer 503A Rocketeer. I wish we lived closer so I could work with her myself.

    December 2, 2017

I had watched Nancy’s sewing programs on Saturday, then when my husband retired and I was still working, I had him tape the shows that was on Wednesday. In the evening when he was watching whatever I did not care for I viewed Nancy’s program that aired on that Wednesday. I have enjoyed her programs and her teaching style. I am sure as much as we the audience will miss Nancy her family’s loss is so much greater.

I was shocked and saddened by Nancy’s death. I have watched her show for years and learned a lot. I record the shows and refer back to them again and again. I too have an almost 3 year-old great granddaughter that loves learning anything, so sewing will be our next project. The book would be a great help. May God bless Nancy’s family and give them comfort .

How I have enjoyed Sewing “with” Nancy all these years. She brought me back to sewing as an adult. I too am a 4-H alumnus and always enjoyed it when she slipped it into the show.

I was fortunate to meet her once at a two-day seminar in the Denver area. She was exactly as seen on the tv, lovely and gracious. Sewing altogether will miss her.

I do not have a small child but my nephew is reaching his young daughter how to sew. This book would be great for them.
