I Sew For Fun – Three Button Projects
In this third installment of Nancy Zieman’s new I Sew For Fun program, we’re highlighting Nancy’s six new “Three-Button” (easy) sewing projects. Nancy’s team approach, along with one of these exciting new projects will provide a fun experience when sewing with youth. Watch the brand new one-part series, I Sew For Fun on Sewing With Nancy.
In the 72-page book, I Sew For Fun, that accompanies this program, Nancy shares her step-by-step directions for 20 super-easy sewing projects.
You’ll need to guide your little partner, and you may end up doing up to 99% of the work. That’s OK, as the LOVE comes from time spent together and letting the little partner do the “fun stuff.” Here’s a look at the six different Three-Button Projects (easy projects) included in the book:

I saw this show not long after Nancy passed away. It was so heart warming to see her with her grandchildren but at the same time, I cried through the whole show. I know how much she will be missed by me and I never met her. I can’t believe how those grand babies and the rest of her family feel. My prayers are with all of them. Nancy will be missed. I have watched her shows over 20 years. My first sewing book was a beginners book. I bought that book in a bookstore in the 1990’s. I have been sewing since. I saw her do a show on machine embroidery on a Babylock. My first sewing/embroidery machine was a Babylock Ellure Plus. Now I have a Babylock Aventura. She has taught me a lot. I have bought Clover products because of her suggestions. I figured if she is sponsoring the company then the products must be one of the best. She has taught me so much with sewing and embroidery that I have opened my own custom business.

I was shocked and devastated when I heard of Nancy’s passing. I love this idea of sewing with children. One of my granddaughters wanted to learn to sew at the tender age of 7. She now has my mother’s “antique” sewing machine to learn on (the one I learned on, too!) Singer 503A Rocketeer. I wish we lived closer so I could work with her myself.

I had watched Nancy’s sewing programs on Saturday, then when my husband retired and I was still working, I had him tape the shows that was on Wednesday. In the evening when he was watching whatever I did not care for I viewed Nancy’s program that aired on that Wednesday. I have enjoyed her programs and her teaching style.
