Begin Stitching the Serger Techniques Pouch Back

The front of our  Serger Techniques Pouch (below) features:

Center Puffing Strip – 2-Thread Chainstitch.

• Set machine for a 2-thread chainstitch, and thread upper looper with Sulky 12 wt. decorative embellishment thread.
• Tighten needle thread, and set differential feed at highest setting.
• Stitch along each side of fabric strip and gather puffing strip.

3-Thread Flatlock Wide Stitch

• Set machine for a wide flatlock stitch, and thread Chain Looper with Sulky Blendable 12 wt. decorative embellishment thread.

Serger Pintucks – 3-Thread Narrow Stitch

• Set machine for a 3-thread narrow standard overlock stitch, and thread upper looper with Sulky Blendable 12 wt. decorative embellishment thread.

Serger Piping – 4-Thread Overlock Stitch.

• Attach a Serger Piping Pressser Foot, set machine for a 4-thread standard overlock stitch, and thread both needles upper looper, and lower looper with coordinating Serger Cone Thread.
